Personal Information
Dusty has been married to his beautiful wife Angela for almost 15 years. The couple has three wonderful children, Kennedy, who is 12, Korben, who is 7, and Kaysen, who is almost one.
Professional Background
Dusty has been licensed in Property/Casualty and Life/Health since May of 2021. He took over the Wendell Fossum Agency in July of 2021 where he strives to continue the same great service and build customer relationships just as Wendell did for over 25 years.
Hobbies & Interests
Dusty loves all kinds of sports. From playing baseball, basketball, and golf to watching his kids play softball and basketball, you can find Dusty and his family somewhere around a sporting event. He also loves to bowl, mostly because of his parents owning a bowling alley for almost 25 years. Dusty is also a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Norfolk, where he is involved in a variety of events.
Honors
Dusty was extremely honored to take over the Wendell Fossum Agency. Dusty knows how hard Wendell worked, and how people trusted Wendell to take care of their insurance needs. Dusty is blessed to be taking care of these customers in the same way. In Dusty's short time with American Family, he and his team have been awarded AFLIC for their success in Life Insurance Sales.
Organizations
Dusty has been a Knight of Columbus since 2005, where he currently serves as the youth activities director. Since July of 2021, he has been a member of the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce and really enjoys meeting new people and learning about other businesses. Dusty also recently joined the Norfolk Lions Club, where he is excited to get involved and help out at a variety of events.
Previous
Dusty was a Catholic school teacher at Norfolk Catholic for 16 years. He taught 6th grade and coached a variety of sports. Since taking over agency in 2021, Dusty has continued to help with girls basketball and assists with directing the choir for school mass. During his summers, Dusty also worked at the Norfolk Country Club grounds crew and sold vehicles at Norfolk GM Auto Center.
